  • Research and policy organization that promotes strategies to help children in poverty by access to educational, support, and health services. Affiliated with Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health.

  • Children of the Night is a privately funded non-profit organization dedicated to assisting children between the ages of 11 through 17 who are sexually abused and forced into prostitution. When children call the national CN hotline, a trained counselor is ready to assist. Organization provides support, educational services, shelter, and other help.

  • The Girls’ Justice Initiative is a national coalition of organizations dedicated to ensuring equality and fairness for girls in the juvenile justice system.

  • JLC works to ensure that youths in the juvenile justice system are treated fairly, are provided with competent counsel and appropriate survices duration of the time that they are under juvenile court jurisdiction. JLC has a special focus on the health care needs of females.  Direct legal assistance only in high-impact federal or appellate cases.

  • Hotline is staffed 24 hours, 7 days a week (in 140 different languages) with professional counselors who provide crisis support and referrals to victims of abuse and caregivers. Referral network across the US, Canada, Virgin Islands, PR, and Guam.

  • Visit the National Teen Dating Abuse website to chat with a peer advocate 24/7.

  • An association of non-profit agencies across the country that offer support to abused or neglected children and their parents. The website has in-depth information, research, and statistics.

  • Provides support and referral to local help and resources for youth in crisis.

  • Deals with child abuse issues. Helpline provides legal assistance, referrals, public policy monitoring, technical assistance to protective parties, referrals, courtwatch information and public education. Focuses especially in cases where justice system response has fallen short.

  • Social justice organization that advocates for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or questioning (LGBTQ) youth  NYAC's National Resource Clearinghouse is the most comprehensive collection of information and materials on issues affecting LGBTQ youth. The National Resource Clearinghouse provides information, referrals, and materials to NYAC members, LGBTQ youth, service providers, educators, the media, and other advocates. Assistance on HIV/STD prevention and Comprehensive Sexuality Education.
